There are over 355 million menstruating women and girls in India, but majority of them face significant barriers to a dignified experience with menstruation. They use homemade products to manage their periods and don’t consistently have access to education on puberty and menstruation. Commercial pads are expensive, and low-cost pads vary in reach and quality. This leads to poor menstrual health and limits girls from truly realizing their potential.
We firmly believe that menstruation should not be the barrier that prevents girls and women from doing the same things as boys and men and receiving the same opportunities.
